The Fine Art Program offers students a thorough and immersive experience in
classical art techniques, focusing on academic drawing, portrait and anatomy
studies, Charcoal Drawing, Watercolors, Pastel Painting and oil and acrylic painting.
Beginning with academic drawing, students
learn to master precision, form, and perspective through structured, detailed
studies that build a strong foundation in observation and technique. The program
then deepens with portrait and anatomy drawing, where students study facial
features, body proportions, and skeletal and muscular structures to capture
realistic, expressive human forms. Moving into painting, students explore oil as a
versatile medium, developing skills in color mixing, layering, and glazing to create
rich, textured compositions. The acrylic painting segment encourages
experimentation with modern techniques, such as impasto and glazing, allowing
students to create bold, vibrant pieces. As well as exploring Charcoal drawing, Watercolors and Pastel Painting.
By the end of the program, students achieve proficiency across these disciplines, equipping them with the technical
skills and creative confidence to render their surroundings and ideas into
compelling works of art.
